The past 10 years has seen the sport of Lacrosse recognized as one of the fastest growing team sports in the country!  In fact, the number of players in the sport has grown over 50% since 2010.  This has also led to more community awareness and involvement with parents, family, and fans turning out to learn and participate in the fun.

A recent sports leader in the US, Girls Lacrosse has increased 26% in participation which is ahead of  High School Boys and Girls Swimming, Cross Country, and Volleyball!  In the Austin area, more than a dozen Girls Lacrosse teams practice and play year-round at Club tournaments and High School sponsored games.   But there is only one Lake Travis Girls Lacrosse!

An introduction to our community program.  Lake Travis Girls  Lacrosse is

• A district Club sport with Youth, Junior Varsity, and Varsity teams

• A non-profit organization in the State of Texas

• Consistently developing young female athletes into future leaders

• Encouraging healthy attitudes, a competitive spirit, and social engagement

• Coached by a staff with outstanding college level experience and skills

• Supported solely by Parents and this community through fundraising activities

The Club is an independent association and responsible for all costs of the program.  With your help, we will be able to continue the amazing growth of the program and create opportunities for these competitive young women.
