Our Coaches
Coach Brandie , our Varsity Head Coach started playing lacrosse in high school in New Jersey, along with field hockey and played for the University of Manitoba. She was also a member of the Canadian National Team for three years, where she played in the 1993 World Cup.
Coach Brandie's coaching experience began in 2003 as the Cedar Park High School Girls head coach, and has also coached travel teams and led multiple clinics and camps. She was the University of Texas Women's Team head coach for 13 seasons, where she received WCLA Coach of the Year twice and the team won 10 divisional titles. Coach Brandie is excited to coach Lake Travis High School Girls Lacrosse, and we're happy to have her! Go Cavs!
Coach Cliff is a Draw specialist and assistant coach for both HS and Youth teams. He grew up playing in Maryland and still playing competitive. Cliff has 15+ years coaching boys lacrosse, holds a USA Lacrosse certification, and has coached HS/Youth girls last 4 years. Cliff has served as President of LT Girls Lacrosse Assoc BOD and currently serves as our At Large member. We are thankful to have you Coach!
Jess Rest
Coach Jess has been with the program since the beginning and is an assistant Varsity coach.
Coach Sammy Giordano, our attack specialist is head coach for our JV team and assistant with the Youth teams. Coach Sammy has played lacrosse since 2nd grade! She played w/ STEPS Elite Lacrosse, captain & 2x State Champ Ridgewood (NJ) HS. Also, a Georgetown grad of 2015, played lacrosse and was a team captain. Just moved to ATX from NYC! We’re excited Coach! Go Cavs!
Greyson Maggio
Greyson Maggio is a 2016 alumni of Lake Travis High School. Greyson began playing lacrosse in LT in the inaugural season in 2007. As Captain his senior year, he led his team to the state quarter finals and was the first Lake Travis player to be awarded the honor of U.S. Lacrosse Academic All-American. After high school, Greyson played for 2 years for the University of Texas before leaving the program to pursue new endeavors as a Counselor for Camp Kesem. Currently, Greyson is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin and is our Goalie coach and JV asst coach.
Coach Amber is back in Austin after completing her Physician Assistant program at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and is leading our Youth program. She was a 4 yr UT women's lacrosse player, head coach of the JV Westlake, Stony Point high school and LT Youth teams. Welcome back to the Cavs Coach Amber!
