In addition, I have had a number of parents ask me about opportunities for travel/select lacrosse club teams.  We have two excellent organizations here in Austin that I could recommend.  Both have their relative pros/cons and I'm happy to speak with any parent live to share my own experiences with them and the also the relative benefits of select lacrosse in general.  Tryouts for these teams are over the next month and their practices and tournaments are focused in the fall and the summer.  Both of these organizations also hold frequent clinics and camps in addition to their select teams that are good development opportunities.

Texas Outlaws- Tryouts August 18th at Town & Country

Iron Horse Austin- Tryouts August 27th at Anderson HS (note that Iron Horse only has teams for 2022 and 2023 graduation years at the high school level...9th and 10th graders)
